Dr Tammy Teacosy is always brewing silly ideas and keeps them warm under her hat. It's always tea-time with Tammy who will do just about anything for a custard cream. Tammy studied the ancient and little known Japanese martial art of Knit-Fu and is author of several esteemed books on the subject including 'Ninja Knits', 'Combat Crochet', and 'Gosh is it Tea Time already I seem to be in a bit of a Tangle' and 'I'm a Clown Dr get me out of here...'

Occasionally Tammy has been known to overheat when she gets excited, resulting in excessive wind. If this should happen, open the windows, hold on to your hat and whatever you do, don't feed her any Wotsits. I mean it, don't do it...

Alison McGowan

alison mcgowanAlison graduated in Puppetry from the Central School of Speech and Drama in 1995. She worked from London as puppeteer for theatre and television for 7 years, before sailing home to Newcastle to set up PuppetShip CIC with her husband, Alex Finnegan. PuppetShip aims to create a puppet theatre aboard a barge, based on the River Tyne. Alison's TV credits include 'Mopatop's Shop' for the Jim Henson Company and "Tamba' in Tikkabilla for CBeebies.
