Children and Families

All of us at the Clown Doctors know how scary it can be in hospital, and so we'd like to meet as many of you as possible! You might see us when you're waiting for some treatment, or when you're at a clinic. Sometimes we can be seen wandering down the corridors- this usually means we're lost! If your nurse or play specialist thinks that you might like a visit from us they will give us a ‘referral', which means that they tell us why they think you would like a visit. We will get to hear all about you, including what you like and don't like, and how long you've been in hospital. Then we'll come and see you, if we can find our way!

We're only in each hospital for one day a week, so we're very busy. We can only see children who have had a referral, to make sure we go where we are most needed.
